Since I got back from 'Nam, I've spent a lot of time trying to make "sense" of the War. Had I seen a doctor with the attitude of Dr Spatz when I did sek help to get my head on straight I probably would not have made it this far. Anyhow it is a much needed and really interesting series which undoubtedly will contribute to a greater understanding of this period of American history.

You did not by any account educate anyone through your actions. American Combat Soldiers and Vietnam Maybe you need to talk to the men and women that served, fought and returned home. Through her, it has been an honour getting to know them, what they went through and how they felt in their roles while I was in Nam playing my role. The greatest tragedy, to me, is that Americans still wish to remember the war with reference to their own experiences.
